Ganghwa Hwagaesan Mountain Monorail & Skywalk Observatory
The newest and largest new attraction in Ganghwa Island, Incheon! On April 30, 2022, the Hwagaesan Mountain Monorail in Gyodongdo Island have be opened! The total length of the monorail is 2km, the speed is 3.6km per hour, and the one-way journey takes 20 minutes. You can easily climb Hwagaesan Mountain and reach Hwagae Garden. The scenery along the way is beautiful, you can overlook the rice fields, the sea, etc., and you can even see North Korea up close! The Hwagae Garden will be temporarily opened on November 1, 2022, covering an area of 213,251 square meters, with an investment of 38.2 billion won. The Skywalk Observatory is expected to be completed very soon.

Gyodong Daeryong-ri Market
Located in Gyodongdo, Ganghwa-gun, the whole market exudes the feeling and characteristics of 60-70 years, and most of the traditional buildings are preserved. It was originally built by a group of people who escaped the war and made it to Gyodongdo Island. Each of them even used the characteristics of their own countryside as a layout to solve their homesickness. Different styles of murals and wooden decorations can be seen everywhere in the streets. Ganghwa-gun government departments are still committed to preserving various signs that have a long history, which is a popular background for punching cards. In the market, the old hair salons and snack shops are still standing, and you can taste the most authentic cinnamon sugar cakes, Shuanghe tea and twisted doughnut! If you like the retro feel, you can go to the tea house, which used to be a Korean coffee shop~

Sochang Experience Center
By the 1950~1960s, sochang industry was very prosperous in Ganghwado. There were so many factories and workers that was the largest sochang marking place in Korea. However, the development of other clothing materials leads to the decline in sochang industry since 1970s. There are only about 10 factories left in Ganghwado. One of the dope dyeing factory became this Sochang Experience Center. Visitors can understand more history of sochang, and also make your own sochang handkerchief in here too!

Joyangbanggik Gallery & Cafe
It is very famous on sns! It was a textile manufacturing factory that was well known in Ganghwa. However it had been closed since 1990. Nowadays, using contemporary heritages as decoration, it becomes a special nice cafe.
